1969

Kendick House estabished as the Afro-American Cultural Center

Urban Center for Black Studies estabished in Poughkeepsie's Black community, Closed in 1980.

Intercultural Center established in basement of Lathrop House.

Interculutral Center moves to Blegen House on Collegeview Avenue.

Plans approved for the conversion of the former coal bin building into a large center.

Construction of the new building completed.

Interculutral Center renamed ALANA Center, an acronym to include various communities of color.

Campus Life Office: Offers educational programs, resources, and student advising to enhance the quality of campus life.

Vassar Diversity Resources: A list of resources specifically devoted to broad diversity at Vassar.

Dean of the College: Responsible for assisting students with their academic and non-academic lives.
