Professor Mampilly has spent time living in places from coast to coast in the US. Raised in the Midwest, and having attended undergrad and graduate school on the East Coast at Tufts University and Columbia University, respectively, Prof. Mampilly received his PhD from UCLA, later to return to the East Coast to teach at Vassar.
