Note from the the Editor

Angelic X. Sosa '08 | As a senior, getting ready to leave Vassar for the real world, I find myself reflecting on the experiences and events that I have been given the opportunity to take part in. We have more written pieces this year, ranging from poetry to short stories, and we also have a great cover piece by Mikey Velarde ‘09 with some pictures of ALANA students. As is tradition, we also have some great interviews with faculty members and members of the administration including: Professor Vinay Swamy of the French Department; Racine Amos, the Sexual Assault and Violence Prevention (SAVP) Program Coordinator; Jocelyn Tejeda, House Advisor for Lathrop and Jewett Houses; and Professor Zacariah Mampilly of the Political Science Department.
