Student Advisement

The director meets with students to discuss and offer support on any personal, academic and/or general college life matter. The director can also assist student leaders in event planning and implementation.

Students can drop in to speak with the director every Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 2:30 or Fridays from 10 to 11:30. If these times, conflict with your schedule, an alternative time can be arranged.

Affiliated Student Organizations

A wide variety of student organizations, that share common ALANA goals, utilize the center as a base to plan, develop and implement, educational, social and cultural events. Some of these events are held at the ALANA Center and others at other campus venues. These organizations, in a comfortable and affirming environment, meet to engage in intra-cultural and cross-cultural dialogues during weekly general body meetings.
